Chelsea midfielder Ramires has revealed that he hopes to face his old club Benfica in the Europa League final, after the sides were kept apart in the competition's semi-final draw.
Chelsea were drawn against Swiss side Basel during Friday's draw in Nyon, while Ramires's old side Benfica will take on Fenerbahce.
Ramires arrived at Stamford Bridge from Benfica for a fee reported to be in the region of £17m.
"I actually would like to return to the Estadio da Luz, where I was very happy but if I was to play against Benfica, I would prefer it to be in the final," the 26-year-old told Globo Esporte.
"It would be wonderful to see my friends again and the club, who I am greatly associated with.
"Now we will work hard to see that it happens. It won't be easy for us or for Benfica."
Chelsea progressed against Rubin Kazan in the Europa League quarter-final on Thursday, despite losing the second leg 3-2.
