Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Luton Town

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup fifth-round clash with Luton Town.

Chelsea will aim to right the wrongs of the weekend when they travel to Luton Town for Wednesday's FA Cup fifth-round clash.

The Blues wasted numerous chances to clinch the EFL Cup against Liverpool in Sunday's final before Kepa Arrizabalaga missed the crucial penalty in the lengthy shootout.

Thomas Tuchel's side may not have reached Wembley for the final time this season, though, with the Blues already seeing off Chesterfield and Plymouth Argyle to make it to round five in the FA Cup.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the fifth-round clash.

Ben Chilwell

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Ben Chilwell is on the long road back to recovery from an ACL injury, and the left-back is unlikely to play again before the season is over.

Hakim Ziyech

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: March 2 (vs. Luton)

Hakim Ziyech picked up a knock against Lille in the Champions League and was not ready for the EFL Cup final, but the Moroccan is thought to have a good chance of coming back in midweek.

Andreas Christensen

Status: Out
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: Unknown

Andreas Christensen was a late withdrawal from the squad for the EFL Cup final after suffering an Achilles issue in training, and the defender is not expected back for the Luton clash.

Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta was withdrawn after 57 minutes at Wembley after taking a knock, and it would be a surprise to see the Spaniard back in time for Wednesday.
