Eirik Bakke believes that Chelsea may struggle to recover from jet-lag in time for their League Cup quarter-final against Leeds United.

Eirik Bakke has said the Leeds United can beat Chelsea in their Capital One Cup quarter-final tomorrow evening.

The former Leeds midfielder believes that travelling back from the Club World Cup in Japan will hinder the London side.

The Norwegian told BBC Radio Leeds: "They might be a little jet-lagged so I think Leeds have a chance. It is a one-off match so you never know what will happen.

"The games between Leeds and Chelsea are always big and the atmosphere will be brilliant. It is the kind of game that you love to play in with a full crowd.

"They have a great chance to play Bradford in the semi-final or even the final and that would be unbelievable."

The winners will join Swansea, Aston Villa and Bradford City in the semi-finals of the tournament.
