Shrewsbury Town handed Chelsea draw in Capital One Cup

League Two side Shrewsbury Two will face Chelsea in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

League Two side Shrewsbury Town will face Premier League leaders Chelsea in the fourth round of Capital One Cup.

The Shrews will take on Jose Mourinho's side after defeating Norwich City 1-0 in the third round of the competition on Tuesday, while the Blues overcame Bolton Wanderers this evening.

Holders Manchester City will face Newcastle United in the next round as the Citizens progressed by hammering Sheffield Wednesday 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool will host Swansea City at Anfield after they came through their mammoth shootout against Middlesbrough on Tuesday, while the Swans put three past their Merseyside rivals Everton to advance.

MK Dons have been handed a home tie against Sheffield United after seeing off Manchester United and Bradford City in the last two rounds, while Tottenham Hotspur will take on Brighton & Hove Albion following their comeback victory over Nottingham Forest.

Championship side Bournemouth face West Bromwich Albion following their late salvo against Hull City. There is also an all-Premier League tie between Stoke City and Southampton, and an all-Championship clash between Fulham and Derby County.
