Carlo Ancelotti: 'One player at Chelsea did not behave'

Carlo Ancelotti reveals that during his time at Chelsea he tried to teach a player a lesson as he did not show him respect.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he tried to "kill" a Chelsea player when he was in charge of the London outfit.

The Italian led the Blues to a Premier League and FA Cup double in 2010 but was sacked the following year.

"We've never had any problems with the players, just one time at Chelsea," The Metro quotes him as saying.

"One player didn't show respect and I tried to kill him but it wasn't possible. The player is the property of the club and sometimes you cannot do what you want."

Ancelotti succeeded Jose Mourinho at Madrid in the summer.
