Rafael Benitez: 'Everything is normal at Chelsea'

Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez insists that everything has remained normal at Stamford Bridge in the aftermath of his outburst on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has revealed that his players trained "very well" ahead of his side's match with West Bromwich Albion.

Benitez criticised the club's fans after Chelsea had recorded a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Wednesday night, but the 52-year-old has insisted that it has not affected his preparations for Saturday's game against the Baggies.

The former Liverpool boss told reporters: "The players have trained very well today, like they have since I arrived, and I was pleased with the performance against Middlesbrough.

"I'm positive that we can get a result against West Brom on Saturday and finish in the top three."

Benitez revealed earlier this week that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
