Chelsea Supporters' Group chair Trizia Fiorellina says that the supporters will not be happy with the appointment of Rafael Benitez.

Chelsea Supporters' Group chair Trizia Fiorellina has insisted that the fans will not 'accept' former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez as the club's new manager.

The Spaniard is the bookies' favourite to take the role, which has been left by Roberto Di Matteo following his dismissal by the club.

While Benitez has been touted as the next manager, Fiorellina has claimed that the supporters will not be happy with a host of rumoured contenders.

"Benitez will just not be accepted by Chelsea supporters, neither will Avram Grant or Harry Redknapp," Fiorellina told BBC Sport. "I simply don't think Benitez is a good manager. He's been out of work for two years now, if he was any good why hasn't any club snapped him up?"

Meanwhile, former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly rejected the chance to move to Chelsea before the end of the season.
