Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly considering keeping faith in Antonio Conte for another season, regardless of the club's achievements this season.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly started to give consideration to keeping Antonio Conte in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

Throughout the season, there have been frequent reports of discontent behind the scenes at Chelsea, with Conte said to be unhappy with the club's business in the transfer market.

The Blues have also underperformed since winning the Premier League title last season, with the club currently sitting in fifth place in the top-flight standings.

However, according to The Sun, Abramovich appears willing to keep the Italian in charge for another 12 months, providing that there is a willingness to accept their transfer policy.

Head coach Conte has previously revealed that he suggests his preferred arrivals to the club's hierarchy, but has indicated that he has not always been provided with his first-choice targets.

Despite the club's form this season, Conte has still won 60 of his 92 matches in charge.
