Three Chelsea players reportedly 'caused issues' at the club's training ground ahead of Frank Lampard's departure on Monday.
On the back of five defeats in eight Premier League fixtures, the Blues board made the decision to remove the Englishman from his position in the dugout.
While Lampard is said to have been judged on results, The Telegraph claims that a trio of squad players contributed to a split dressing room behind the scenes.
Antonio Rudiger, Marcos Alonso and Jorginho are all said to have been unhappy with being handed reduced roles this season.
The report claims that Rudiger has clashed with captain Cesar Azpilicueta, who seemingly tried to act as peacemaker in his leadership role.
Thomas Tuchel, an alleged admirer of Rudiger and Jorginho, is expected to be confirmed as Lampard's replacement on Tuesday or Wednesday.
