Didier Drogba backs Chelsea strikers

Galatasaray forward Didier Drogba comes out in support of Chelsea strike duo Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o.

Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba has insisted that the Turkish outfit will have to defend well to stop Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o scoring against them in the Champions League.

The two teams will meet in the second round of the competition with the first leg taking place in late February, and despite the Chelsea attack receiving widespread criticism in recent months, Drogba has praised their contribution to his former side.

The 35-year-old told GS TV show Big Legend: "The Chelsea strikers are maybe not scoring as much as everyone expects of them but they score in all of the important games.

"The Galatasaray game would be an important game to them, so we have to be careful when we play because I know them, it is very difficult. We will play the first game and everything will depend on this game."

Drogba will return to Stamford Bridge on March 18 for the first time since departing the club after their Champions League triumph in 2012.
