Former Chelsea winger Damien Duff has suggested that Jose Mourinho is one of the best coaches he has ever worked with, as well as a motivational genius.
The pair spent time together at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea brought home two Premier League titles and a League Cup, and Duff has praised Mourinho's ability both as a coach and motivator.
"He's this big personality to everyone looking in, but he's an amazing guy to work with. You'd run through a brick wall for him. From the football point of view on the pitch, getting coached every day, he's top notch," said Duff, according to the Irish Times.
"He might not have been a top player, but he's certainly an amazing, amazing coach, and I have learned a lot from him. He's a genius when it comes to motivation as well. For me, he ticks every box."
Duff now plays his football with Australian side Melbourne City.
