Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has set himself a target of reaching 20-25 goals for the club this season.
The Belgian has been in fine form for the Premier League leaders in the current campaign and saw his contribution rewarded earlier today when he was handed a new five-and-a-half-year contract with the club.
Hazard's recent goal in the victory over Aston Villa was his 13th of the season in all competitions, but the 24-year-old is hopeful that he can go on to improve upon his 17-goal haul from the previous campaign.
"It's my objective to score more goals every season. Even if I don't score I always give my best on the pitch, but obviously for an offensive player the most important things are to win, score goals and make assists," he told the club's official website.
"I hope I can reach maybe 20 or 25 goals before the end of the season, that would be very good for me and the team."
Hazard had previously been linked with a return to France to play for Paris Saint-Germain before signing his new deal.
