Frank Lampard expresses his happiness after scoring his 200th goal in a Chelsea shirt.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has admitted that he is "really happy" to have reached the 200-goal landmark for the club.

The England international achieved the feat during yesterday afternoon's 2-0 victory over West Ham United.

Reflecting on his success, the 34-year-old has said that he never expected to get anywhere near that figure.

"It feels good. I never thought I'd get near 200 when I first came here, so I'm very proud to have been a part of a great club for a long time. To be able to contribute that is something that can't be taken away from me now and I'm very pleased to get there," he told the club's official website.

"It's a special personal achievement because the fans were amazing when I did it. When I first signed for the club I would have been pleased to play 200 games, let alone score 200 goals, so I'm really happy."

Lampard now needs three more goals to become Chelsea's leading goalscorer of all time.
