Loic Remy has warned his Chelsea teammates to avoid the "trap" of believing that they are already Premier League champions.
With a seven-point lead over second-placed Southampton, Jose Mourinho's side are big favourites to land the league title, with bookmakers Paddy Power already paying out on a Blues triumph.
Despite admitting that confidence is high in the camp, Remy, who won two Ligue 1 crowns with Lyon, stressed the importance of remaining grounded in their pursuit of glory.
"For me, it is a real opportunity to win a trophy or something here," the Frenchman is quoted as saying by BT Sport.
"Every player is conscious that we can really win something this year, but the most important thing is to stay focused about the same thing and don't think the league is already won. I think it is a trap if we think that.
"We just have to try to win game after game and we know there are a lot of games coming so we have to be careful and play the same way we are playing at the minute."
The Saints can bridge that seven-point gap with victory away to Aston Villa on Monday night.
