Jose Mourinho: 'Eden Hazard closing in on return'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho claims that Eden Hazard should recover from his calf injury "sooner rather than later".

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Eden Hazard will return from injury "sooner rather than later".

The Belgian winger missed Sunday's 1-0 win at Swansea City after picking up a calf problem in midweek against Paris Saint-Germain.

"Every player is fit at this stage, with the exception of Eden, who should be sooner rather than later. It is still a little bit too early to say for sure," the Portuguese is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

Hazard has scored 17 goals in 46 games so far this season.
