Jose Mourinho "really happy" with Chelsea win

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says that he is "really happy" with his team's performance and result against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho has said that he is "really happy" to see his Chelsea side ease to a comfortable win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this evening.

The 3-0 victory maintained the team's 100% record at Stamford Bridge this season, and keeps the side six points clear at the top of the league.

The manager told BBC Sport: "We played against a very good team and they showed that during some periods in the game.

"They started better than us and should have scored before us, but after our first goal our team became more stable and confident and we controlled the game.

"I'm really happy with the points, performance and spirit of the players. It's too heavy a result, though, for Tottenham."

Chelsea, who were without suspended top scorer Diego Costa this evening, travel to Newcastle United on Saturday.
