Chelsea target Maurizio Sarri 'arrives in UK on private jet'

Maurizio Sarri reportedly makes his way to London via a private jet as Chelsea look to appoint the Italian as the club's new boss.

Maurizio Sarri has reportedly made his way to London via a private jet as Chelsea look to appoint the Italian as the replacement for Antonio Conte.

On Friday morning, Chelsea announced that Conte had been removed from his position as head coach, paving the way for Sarri to be brought into the Stamford Bridge dugout.

According to Calciomercato, the Blues are now looking to speed up the process and Sarri has completed the journey to England's capital on a private jet.

The former Napoli manager may not be confirmed in his new role until early next week, but it appears that Chelsea want a deal signed off as soon as possible.

Chelsea are yet to make any signings during the summer transfer window but the club are looking to complete the acquisition of midfielder Jorginho, who played under Sarri at Napoli.
