Maurizio Sarri has vowed to "have fun" at Chelsea during his time in charge of the Premier League giants.
Sarri was officially appointed Chelsea's new manager on Saturday, with the 59-year-old - who saw his Napoli contract expire at the end of last season - replacing Antonio Conte at the helm.
The Italian was presented to the media at an official press conference on Wednesday afternoon, and was keen to stress that he would bring entertainment to the club.
"My goal is to have fun and be competitive in all the competition until the end," Sarri told reporters. "In life the biggest gift you may receive is having fun while you do your job.
"There has to be a lot of technical play. If a team has fun, often the fans have fun too. This is very important. We want to reach high level objectives, but first we must have fun."
Chelsea will begin their 2018-19 Premier League campaign away to Huddersfield Town on August 11.
