Andreas Weimann: 'We deserved at least a point'

Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann insists that his side should have taken something from this evening's clash with Chelsea.

Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann believes that his side deserved at least a point from this evening's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The Villans went down 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, but the Austrian insists that it was only the form of Blues goalkeeper Petr Cech that sealed the points.

"We have played really well, it was a big win at Arsenal and we should have got something today," BBC Sport quotes Weimann as saying.

"Petr Cech is one of the best keepers in the world, and he pulled off a great save from me."

Christian Benteke cancelled out an early own goal from Antonio Luna, but Branislav Ivanovic headed home a Chelsea winner in the 73rd minute.
