Half-Time Report: Christian Benteke strike sends Aston Villa in level

Antonio Luna's early own goal has Chelsea leading Aston Villa 1-0 at half time at Stamford Bridge.

A Christian Benteke goal deep in first-half injury time has seen Aston Villa claw Chelsea back before the break.

The hosts took an early lead in unfortunate circumstances, as Antonio Luna inadvertently put the ball past keeper Brad Guzan after the American had saved a powerful effort from Eden Hazard.

Andreas Weimann and Karim El Ahmadi both had sight at goal but neither man could find the target.

However, good work from Gabriel Agbonlahor set up Benteke for his third goal of the season, sending the teams into the break on level terms.
