Willian: 'I'm improving every game'

Chelsea's Willian believes that he is getting better each time he plays for the club.

Chelsea winger Willian has insisted that he is getting better with every game he plays and intends to continue improving.

Willian impressed against Arsenal in his side's 2-0 win in the League Cup, setting up Juan Mata for the second goal.

"Playing a derby as important as that one was a different feeling," he told Lancenet. "I am very happy to have achieved that beautiful win and to have advanced to the next round.

"I am happy with myself, as I think I am improving every match."I ran a lot, I managed to create some good plays and help the team.

"I'm feeling physically better and slowly becoming more confident. I am sure I'll grow even more, improve with every game. What is important is that I am happy and that I am earning my place."

Chelsea travel to Newcastle United on Saturday in the Premier League.
