Team News: Diego Costa shrugs off injury to face Swansea City

Chelsea striker Diego Costa recovers from a hamstring injury to start against Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has shrugged off a hamstring injury to make Jose Mourinho's starting lineup for the visit of Swansea City this afternoon.

The Spain international had sustained a knock on international duty, but Costa, whose four goals earned him Player of the Month in August, is deemed fit to start against the Swans.

Mourinho makes two changes in all from the 6-3 win over Everton last time out, with Andre Schurrle and Oscar coming in for Ramires and Willian respectively.

City boss Garry Monk, meanwhile, names one change to his first XI from the 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion as Swansea chase a fourth successive victory.

Summer signing Bafetimbi Gomis comes into the side for his first start, replacing Wilfried Bony to spearhead the attack.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa

Swansea City XI: Fabianski; Rangel, Amat, Williams, Taylor; Ki, Shelvey, Sigurdsson, Dyer, Routledge; Gomis
