Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling both start for Chelsea against Everton in Saturday's Premier League fixture at Goodison Park.

Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling have both been handed starts for Chelsea against Everton in Saturday's Premier League fixture at Goodison Park.

Until the start of this week, the pair had been Chelsea's only first-team additions, and Koulibaly lines up on the left-hand side of a back three with Sterling being deployed in the front three.

There is also a place on the substitutes' bench for Marc Cucurella, who only arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday.

Cesar Azpilicueta is selected in the back three ahead of Trevoh Chalobah, with Jorginho and N'Golo Kante getting the nod in the middle of the pitch.

That has left the likes of Mateo Kovacic and Conor Gallagher to feature among the replacements alongside Armando Broja.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has handed an Everton debut to Dwight McNeil, who may feature down the centre of the attack in the absence of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Salomon Rondon.

James Tarkowski is also selected in defence with Lampard seemingly going with a 3-4-3 formation.

Everton: Pickford; Mina, Godfrey, Tarkowski; Patterson, Doucoure, Iwobi, Mylolenko; Gordon, McNeil, Gray

Subs: Begovic, Holgate, Keane, Allan, Alli, Gbamin, Vinagre, Warrington, Mills

Chelsea: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Koulibaly; James, Kante, Jorginho, Chilwell; Mount, Havertz, Sterling

Subs: Arrizabalaga, Cucurella, Chalobah, Gallagher, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic, Ziyech, Broja
