Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has said that he is confident his side can sustain their push for a third Premier League title in five seasons.
The Blues, who came out on top in 2015 and 2017, are currently third in the standings after making an impressive start to Maurizio Sarri's reign.
Having limped to fifth place in Antonio Conte's final season at the helm, Chelsea were considered outsiders to finish at the summit for a seventh time in their history.
Following a bright opening couple of months to 2018-19, however, which includes a 1-1 draw against second-placed Liverpool at the weekend, Hazard believes that Chelsea can compete at the top once again.
"I think we can challenge with Liverpool and Manchester City, who are probably the best teams at the moment," he told reporters. "We've played Liverpool twice and were so close to winning both games.
"So we are almost there and I think we can challenge with these teams. We have a new manager, with new players, but we are winning games and confidence is high at the moment."
Chelsea switch focus to the Europa League on Thursday night as they welcome Hungarian side Videoton to Stamford Bridge.
