Manchester City are reportedly on the brink of completing the signing of Nathan Ake after agreeing personal terms with the Bournemouth defender.
The Citizens have wasted no time in getting their transfer business done this summer, having already brought in young winger Ferran Torres from Valencia.
Pep Guardiola is now looking to strengthen at the back and, according to talkSPORT, Ake is on the verge of becoming City's second signing of the window.
City had an initial £40m offer rising to £41m accepted by Bournemouth last week, which the Dutchman's former club Chelsea allegedly turned down the chance to match.
Ake has made 110 appearances in the Premier League, the vast majority of those coming during his four-year spell with Bournemouth.
