Chelsea manager Antonio Conte rules out the possibility of Eden Hazard leaving the club this summer, despite reported interest from Barcelona.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has ruled out the possibility of Eden Hazard leaving the club this summer.

Reports in the Spanish press have claimed that Barcelona will swoop for the Belgium international if they miss out on Philippe Coutinho, with the Spanish giants looking for possible options to replace Paris Saint-Germain target Neymar.

Hazard was integral to Chelsea's Premier League title success last season, and Conte dismissed any chance of the winger leaving Stamford Bridge.

"I don't know anything about this situation. In the past I read a lot of stories about [Hazard going to] Real Madrid and now there is Barcelona. This is the transfer market and we must understand this," he told reporters.

"Will Hazard stay with us? Yes. He is very happy to stay with us and to play for Chelsea."

Hazard recently returned to light training following ankle surgery.
