Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly ready to request his exit from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly open to parting ways with Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

After a number of high-profile mistakes, Arrizabalaga was replaced by Willy Caballero earlier this month, leaving him to spend the last four games on the substitutes' bench.

During that time, it has been suggested that Frank Lampard will be happy to sell the Spanish stopper at the end of the campaign, freeing up the opportunity to bring in his own replacement.

However, according to The Sun, Arrizabalaga may hand in a transfer request before officially being informed that he does not feature in Lampard's plans going forward.

The report claims that the 25-year-old, who has a contract with the Blues until 2025, is becoming increasingly frustrated with spending time among the replacements.

The former Athletic Bilbao man is said to be concerned that he will be priced out of a move to another club, aware of Chelsea's desire to recoup as much of the £71.6m which they paid for him in 2018 as possible.
