Chelsea striker Fernando Torres does not want to depart the club, according to Spanish football correspondent Guillem Balague.

Spanish football correspondent Guillem Balague has dampened suggestions that Chelsea striker Fernando Torres wants to leave the club.

Torres, 28, admitted on Sunday that he has "felt lost" at the club this season, but Balague has insisted that the Spaniard does not want to leave.

"[Torres] might not be comfortable with his situation at the club. But that doesn't mean he wants to leave. He doesn't at all," he tweeted.

Torres has scored 12 goals in 46 games for Chelsea.
