Barcelona, Inter Milan to rival Liverpool for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner?

Barcelona and Inter Milan are reportedly ready to rival Liverpool in the race to sign RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

Barcelona and Inter Milan have allegedly identified RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner as a potential summer signing.

After starring in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season, Werner has been heavily linked with a transfer to Liverpool later in 2020.

However, despite the Premier League leaders being regarded as the frontrunners, reports in Spain say that the European champions face strong competition from elsewhere.

While Inter forward Lautaro Martinez has been tipped to make the switch to Camp Nou, it is suggested that Barcelona also want to add Werner to their ranks.

Meanwhile, Inter seemingly view the Germany international as a direct replacement for Martinez, who is said to have a £92m release clause in his contract.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been linked with Werner in recent months.
