Liverpool have reportedly identified Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno as a possible replacement for Roberto Firmino should the Brazilian leave Anfield this summer.
Bayern Munich are thought to be lining up a bid for Firmino when the transfer window reopens, having earmarked the 28-year-old as the perfect foil for Robert Lewandowski.
Liverpool are reluctant to lose their number nine, despite being strongly linked with a summer swoop for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner themselves.
Reports in Spain now claim that Rodrigo is also on Jurgen Klopp's radar as a potential replacement for Firmino, although his preference remains to keep the Brazil international at the club.
Rodrigo has also been linked with Barcelona as the Catalan outfit consider attacking reinforcements of their own, with Valencia understood to want around €50m (£43.6m) for the Spaniard.
The 28-year-old has scored five goals and created 11 more in 26 appearances for Valencia this season, compared to 10 goals and 12 assists for Firmino and 27 goals and 11 assists for Werner.
