Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Monaco.
Batshuayi has spent the first half of the season at Valencia, but the Belgium international is scheduled to return to Stamford Bridge after scoring just twice in eight starts and 12 substitute outings in La Liga and the Champions League.
However, it appears unlikely that the 25-year-old will remain with the Blues - despite their own frontline concerns - and according to France Football, Monaco are keen to add Batshuayi to their squad.
Recently-appointed boss Thierry Henry has previously worked with Batshuayi with Belgium, and it appears that the Frenchman wants the striker to help his team's efforts to avoid relegation from Ligue 1.
Batshuayi could follow Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas to Stade Louis II, with the playmaker being heavily tipped to leave the West Londoners before the end of the month.
