Chelsea have reportedly held talks with the agent of Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski over a potential deal to bring the forward to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Blues have previously been linked to Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland, but with Der BVB reportedly unwilling to sell the 21-year-old this summer, Thomas Tuchel is said to have turned his attention elsewhere.
The Chelsea manager will reportedly keep his focus in his home nation though, reportedly placing Robert Lewandowski as his top priority, after the Polish international lifted his ninth Bundesliga trophy at the end of last season.
According to Daily Mail, the Blues have held talks with Lewandowski's agent regarding a move for the 32-year-old this summer, after he broke the Bundesliga goals record last season with 41 goals in 29 appearances to surpass Gerd Muller's 40.
Following the departure of Olivier Giroud and the rumoured exit of Tammy Abraham this summer, Tuchel is looking to add to his attacking options, with Lewandowski reportedly his priority to come in and lead the line alongside existing stars such as Mason Mount, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
With two years left on his deal at Bayern Munich, the Bavarian side are said to be desperate to extend Lewandowski's stay, but could reportedly be tempted by a lofty fee should the Polish talisman express a desire to leave for the European champions this summer.
