Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester City have both had a bid turned down for Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara, according to a report.
The 18-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge on numerous occasions in the past, is thought to have been the subject of offers in the region of £14.5m.
According to Italian publication Corriere di Bologna, Bologna are keen to keep hold of the youngster and will knock back all prospective bids that fall short of their own valuation.
It is suggested that Man City have joined fallen champions Chelsea in showing a strong interest in Diawara, who has made 15 appearances for the Serie A side since joining from San Marino Calcio earlier this year.
