Chelsea leading the race for Bologna starlet Amadou Diawara?

Chelsea are reportedly the frontrunners to sign Amadou Diawara from Bologna.

Chelsea are said to be the favourites to sign highly-rated Bologna youngster Amadou Diawara.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the 18-year-old's agent has reached an agreement with the Blues ahead of the January transfer window.

Chelsea reportedly face competition from Juventus and AC Milan for Diawara's services, with both Italian clubs said to be willing to make player-plus-cash offers.

Diawara has made 11 appearances for Bologna since joining the club from San Marino Calcio earlier this year.
