Chelsea have reportedly turned down a bid from Fulham to take Mark Schwarzer back to Craven Cottage on loan.
Since leaving the Cottagers, the veteran Australian shot-stopper has made just four appearances for the Blues.
However, the Daily Mail claims that manager Jose Mourinho has refused Fulham's request for an emergency loan deal for Schwarzer until the end of the season.
His decision to retain the 42-year-old's services may be down to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the future of long-time first-choice keeper Petr Cech.
The Czech Republic number one has been linked with a move to Roma after losing his place to Belgian international Thibaut Courtois.
