Chelsea to be offered AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek?

AC Milan may reportedly offer Chelsea the opportunity to sign Krzysztof Piatek before the end of the January window.

While Frank Lampard currently has three strikers at his disposal, Olivier Giroud has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Should the World Cup winner find a new club, the Blues would likely look to find a replacement, either on a short or long-term basis.

With Piatek now occupying the substitutes' bench at San Siro, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Milan may try to tempt Chelsea into signing the 24-year-old.

Despite being linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, neither club have been prepared to meet the player's valuation, said to be in the region of £30m.

However, aware that they are running out of time to cash in on the Poland international, Milan are now allegedly prepared to sell for £25m.
