Chelsea to offer Josh McEachran as part of Gary Cahill deal

Chelsea are planning to offer young midfielder Josh McEachran to Bolton on loan in January, as part of a move for Gary Cahill.

Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas is planning an £8m January offer for Cahill but faces competition from Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has taken both Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge on loan in the past two seasons and is keen to add some quality to the middle of his struggling midfield.

Cahill joined Bolton from Aston Villa in 2008, but his current contract has just six months left to run.
