Tottenham are reportedly willing to sell striker Roman Pavlyuchenko in order to buy Gary Cahill from Bolton.

Tottenham are reportedly back in the race to sign Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill, despite growing interest from Chelsea.

While the Blues are believed to be interested in the England international, Spurs are willing to accept an £8m bid for Roman Pavlyuchenko in order to pay for the 25-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.

It is understood that the North London club need to sell before Harry Redknapp can bring in new additions to White Hart Lane.

Meanwhile, Bolton have lodged an appeal against Cahill's red card dealt during the side's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
