Guus Hiddink: 'Eden Hazard could leave Chelsea'

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink confirms that Eden Hazard could leave the club this summer.

Interim Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has conceded that Eden Hazard could leave the club this summer.

The 25-year-old has endured a torrid run of form this season, only finding the net for the first time on Sunday as he took a penalty during the Blues' 5-1 thrashing of MK Dons in the FA Cup.

Reports have suggested that the Belgian is planning to exit Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and big-spending Paris Saint-Germain all thought to be interested.

Asked about the rumours at a press conference yesterday, Hiddink said: "It's not up to me, it's up to the club.

"My advice to Eden is he could be a Chelsea great for years to come, but he could leave in the summer.

"He's of big value to Chelsea – a very important player, a nice player. But he's been struggling with injuries for a while now."

Hazard moved to Chelsea from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2012 for a fee reported to be £32m.
