Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard reportedly plans to leave Stamford Bridge in the winter window in favour of a switch to MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is reportedly prepared to leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.

The 34-year-old has been eased out of a regular spot in the Blues first team under manager Roberto Di Matteo this season.

It is believed that the England international is open to a move to Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy to join up with David Beckham, and Chelsea are thought to be open to letting Lampard depart the club for free, according to the Daily Star.

The playmaker's current contract with the Champions League winners expires at the end of this season.
