Liverpool could move for Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Liverpool.

The United States international has only made four appearances for his current club during the 2021-22 campaign, although he was unavailable for selection for a long period due to an ankle issue.

There is currently speculation surrounding the 23-year-old's future at Stamford Bridge, with Barcelona said to be keen to bring him to Camp Nou at the start of 2022.

However, according to the Daily Star, Liverpool have now emerged as potential suitors, as the Reds prepare to freshen their attack next year.

The report claims that Pulisic's relationship with the Merseyside club's head coach Jurgen Klopp, who he played under at Borussia Dortmund, could see the move take place.

The American - contracted to Chelsea until June 2024 - has scored 18 times and registered 14 assists in 81 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
