Filipe Luis "very happy" with Atletico Madrid return

Brazilian full-back Filipe Luis reveals his delight after returning to Atletico Madrid just one year after departing the Vicente Calderon for Chelsea.

Brazilian defender Filipe Luis has revealed his delight after sealing a return to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old departed Atletico for Chelsea just last summer, but has now returned to the Vicente Calderon after struggling to settle in England.

Luis has said that he is "very happy" to have returned "home" after less than 12 months in London.

"I'm very happy to come back. This is my home and I'm very excited," Luis told reporters. "The fans aren't won with words, they're won on the field. I have to win them back.

"New players have come, with enthusiasm and quality. I will have to adapt."

Luis, who has signed a four-year deal with the Spanish outfit, played a key role in Atletico's La Liga title success during the 2013-14 campaign.
