Chelsea's Fernando Torres and AC Milan's Robinho could switch clubs during the January transfer window.

Chelsea and AC Milan are planning a swap deal in January which would see Fernando Torres and Robinho switch clubs, reports in Italy have suggested.

Torres has struggled for form at Stamford Bridge since his £50m move from Liverpool in January of this year, and stories yesterday claimed that Milan are keen to take the Spaniard to the San Siro.

With the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pato and Antonio Cassano already at the club, the Rossoneri are said to be willing to part with Robinho to make the deal possible, according to Sportmediaset, a television station run by Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi.

After being dropped for the weekend's victory at Sunderland, Torres returned to the Blues starting lineup last night for the match against Bayer Leverkusen.
