Sevilla attacker Pablo Sarabia turned down the chance to join Chelsea in January, according to a report.

Sevilla attacker Pablo Sarabia reportedly turned down the chance to join Chelsea in January.

Sarabia, who joined Sevilla from Getafe in the summer of 2016, has been in impressive form this term, scoring 19 times and registering 13 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea attempted to bring the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge during the winter transfer window, but the Spaniard 'declined the offer'.

Sarabia, who has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, will see his current contract at the Estadio Ramon expire at the end of next season.

The former Spain Under-21 international has scored 39 times and registered 35 assists in 142 appearances for Sevilla since arriving from Getafe in the summer of 2016.
