Real Madrid are reportedly on course to wrapping up the signing of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard in time to unveil him to supporters on Monday.
The Spanish club's president Florentino Perez confirmed on Tuesday that his side have been trying to sign Hazard "for a number of years".
Reports emerged overnight suggesting that a £115m agreement has been reached between the two clubs for the Belgium international to finally become a Madrid player.
Spanish outlet AS claims that, barring any last-minute complications, next Monday has been pencilled in for the 28-year-old to welcome himself to his new club's fanbase at the Bernabeu.
After that, Los Blancos' focus will apparently turn to unveiling Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy over the coming weeks, with deals for both players - who are away on international duty - as good as complete.
