Report: Atletico Madrid to move for Romelu Lukaku

Atletico Madrid could reportedly make a bid for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku if Diego Costa's move in the opposite direction goes through.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly lining up a bid for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku if the move to take Diego Costa to Stamford Bridge goes through.

Atletico are looking to replace Costa with Lukaku, who scored 15 goals during a successful loan stint with Everton last season.

Chelsea are demanding £25m for the 21-year-old, but Atletico are uncertain if Lukaku can make the cut in La Liga for the Spanish champions.

Atletico's Costa is understood to be close to a £32m move to Chelsea this summer having scored 27 league goals last season.
