Chelsea could reportedly choose between England goalkeeping duo Jordan Pickford and Jack Butland if they lose Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.
The Blues are said to be willing to offload their current number one if Los Blancos match his valuation, as the Belgium international has no intention of penning a new contract.
Having already missed out on Alisson Becker, who joined Premier League rivals Liverpool earlier this week for around £67m, The Sun claims that Chelsea will turn to either Everton ace Pickford or Butland of Stoke City in their search for a new stopper.
Pickford would cost in excess of £60m after producing a string of fine displays for England in the knockout rounds of the World Cup, while compatriot Butland is seen as a cheaper alternative at £20m following Stoke's relegation to the Championship.
Both men would supposedly be tempted by the lure of Chelsea, who are now under the management of former Napoli chief Maurizio Sarri.
