Report: Chelsea to sign Ajax youngster Juan Familia Castillo

A report claims that Chelsea have beaten Premier League rivals Manchester United to the signing of Ajax teenager Juan Familia Castillo.

Chelsea have reportedly beaten Manchester United to the signing of Ajax's Netherlands Under-16 captain Juan Familia Castillo.

Last month, a report claimed that Man United were confident of signing the Dutchman, who has been monitored by the Red Devils over the last 12 months.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have stolen a march on their rivals and are now the favourites to acquire the highly-rated teenager.

The same report claims that Guus Hiddink's presence at Stamford Bridge played a strong part in convincing Castillo to make the move to London.

Castillo, who turned 16 last week, could link up with the Blues before the end of the month.
