A report claims that Chelsea ace Kenedy will rejoin Newcastle United on loan by the end of the week, with a medical pencilled in for Tuesday.

Chelsea wideman Kenedy will reportedly undergo a medical with Newcastle United on Tuesday ahead of rejoining the club on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old spent the second half of 2017-18 with the North-East outfit, playing a direct part in four goals to help seal a top-half finish in the Premier League.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez had been keen to bring the Brazilian back to St James' Park in some capacity, and the Newcastle Chronicle suggests that a deal is just days away from going through.

Kenedy will allegedly undergo a medical on Tuesday, with Newcastle confident of having him in place before setting off for their pre-season tour of Ireland later in the week.

A loan fee is understood to have been agreed during discussions between the two clubs on Monday.
