Report: Frank Lampard to earn new Chelsea deal

Chelsea could offer Frank Lampard a new one-year contract, but the futures of Ashley Cole and John Terry are in doubt, according to a report.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will be offered a new deal to stay at Stamford Bridge for another year, according to a report.

The Mirror claims that the England international will continue his playing career with the West London club before moving into coaching.

However, the futures of both John Terry and Ashley Cole are said to be in doubt with the two stars unlikely to be given new deals by the Blues as their contracts expire this summer.

Terry, 33, has recently been linked with a move to Turkey, with both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce reported to be interested in the ex-England captain.

Meanwhile, Cole could be the subject of interest from Manchester United if his Chelsea career is brought to an end by manager Jose Mourinho.
